On 1st April 1982 Antoon and Francien
Loverbos started their company Lolaar
Spuitgiettechniek BV in their converted farmhouse in
Ommel.
In the beginning, they produced amongst others
plastic coins for the catering industry. The
assortment expanded soon. They had to work hard.
Lolaar kept growing. The 3 employees and 11 machines
at location De Stegen were no longer sufficient
anymore in 1992. Lolaar moved to De Dwarsdijk in
Helmond, a large industrial property (2.800m2). It
turned out soon that this building didn’t offer
sufficient growth opportunities as well.
In 2000 Lolaar moved to a property at De Waterbeemd.
Although we have grown a lot, we are still located
in this building today. In the meantime, we own a
couple of the surrounding terrains as well. We
wonder if they will offer enough space for our
future expansion.
At the moment we work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
to keep machinery running and deliver customer
orders on demand.
The number of machines and employees keeps
increasing. It’s for the future to show if this
location offers sufficient possibilities
for perhaps a next generation?
Below figures show Lolaar grows:
